NB! The spare uniform and footwear must be in accordance with the mandatory equipment rules. Using foreign uniform or sporting clothes results in penalty points for the team during cmpetition.
NB! The amount and weight of equipment is not limited. The teams are allowed to have extra items. It will be registered and if it’s not consumable (e.g. food) it will have to be present in finish as well.
NB! Cell phones and pagers are prohibited!
NB! Teams are allowed to use night vision devices.
AFTER THE DRAW OF STARTING ORDER EVERY TEAM RECEIVES A NUMBER. THIS NUMBER HAS TO BE MARKED ON EACH PIECE OF EQUIPMENT INCLUDING UNDERWEAR AND FOOD PACKAGES AND PRESENTED IN EQUIPMENT CHECK. IT IS NECESSARY FOR IDENTIFYING LOST THINGS.
Mandatory equipment for teams:
- First aid kit, will be inspected by medical staff in start
- Tent that stays in camp
- Inflatable boat with oars for 4 people
- Four life jackets
- Radio (given by Erna HQ in mandate)
- Flare gun with 3 red flares, „pencils“ are also allowed.
- Two GPS devices
- Digital camera with card: SM, XD, RSMMC, miniSD, SD/MMC, CFI/II, MD/MStore, Duo/Duo Pro, MS/MS Pro
NB! Erna society will not hand out equipment to Estonian teams.
NB! The team can not participate if not properly manned or missing:
- weapons
- ammo
- food for 4 days
- first aid kit
- boat
- radio
- safety rope
- life jackets
